Your Age in Place GPS
Aging
in Place: Your Grand Serenity Plan (GPS)
You can do this program on your own schedule.
You Pay Nothing; It Pays Off For You!
These materials were compiled and adapted by the New River Valley Aging In Place Leadership Team based in Blacksburg, Virginia. The Got Your Back Neighbor Network is offering this workbook as a self-paced program, rather than a several hour workshop format. This is so it's easy use by all Got Your Back Neighbor members. Everyone can do this: whether working or retired. Whether 45+ or 65+. Whether doing it for yourself or considering the future needs of loved ones.
After you Register, you'll receive a link to the Workbook and optional related videos. You can proceed on your own schedule. Feel free to comment or ask any questions on the material as you move along via email to callmewillen@gmail.com.
I used to tell my Career Transition clients, "You can look for a fresh start part time, but you can't do it some time. It has to be dedicated time." The same applies to finding your way to independence and well-being in your later years.
But Wait, There's More!
If you participate in this self-empowerment program, you are invited to join others in a "Wisdom Exchange."
Over
the past five years, our Got Your Back Neighbor Network has seen the
value of "collective intelligence" - a question answered, an understanding
heart, a fresh perspective. I hope you'll participate
Hosted by Sharon Willen, these members-only sessions will surface the reactions and questions of people at different stages in their own lives and of their workbook progress. We'll see examples of how these topics can interrelate or impact one another. Talking about the common experience of considering the future will deepen our respect and readiness as fellow travelers, path-setters for aging in community.
